Godfrey House, the female nurses' home. It included the Lawson School of Nursing on the ground floor, beyond the front door (never used) to the left of the picture. Men were allowed to reside within from 1970, Andrew Heenan and Ray Rowden being the first two to have this honour.

This postcard is undated, but probably appeared in the 1950s.
